Modeling and optimization of PV-diesel-biogas hybrid microgrid energy system for sustainability of electricity in Rural Area

The paper presented a hybrid micro-grid renewable energy of different sources to generate uninterrupted electricity for the Agu-Amede village using PV, diesel, biogas, and battery. system optimization was performed determine techno-economic analysis generated HOMER software. by able meet demand load at all levels biomass production with surplus in each case when biogas varied between 0.5 tons 3 tons. At tons, total is 480693 kWh 121762 kWh. Again, PV 98714 (20.50%) 381979 (79.50%), respectively. net present cost (NPC) (COE) base architecture (diesel) measured are $1230000 $0.267/kWh, Therefore, 2.5 3.0 penetration, increased, diesel removed from setup. This because availability almost sufficient lower solar added balance production.
